"During today's attack, two such missiles were destroyed for the first time. Austria is aiming to buy about four aircrafts and is negotiating with the Netherlands on a potential joint order, Tanner told a news conference. Aside from an order for 19 C-390 aircrafts from the Brazilian Air Force, Portugal has ordered five and Hungary has requested two. Analysts at JPMorgan calculated that including the prospective orders from Austria and The Netherlands, the aircraft's potential lifetime sales stand at 35 units, 28 of which are still to be delivered. Shares in Embraer rose 2.85% in early trading on the Brazilian stock exchange, outperforming the Bovespa stock index (.BVSP), which rose 0.8%.

A highly anticipated report published by NASA on Thursday underscored challenges to understanding unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP, including stigma and poor data quality. The report, which comes from NASA’s UAP Independent Study Team, found no evidence to suggest that UFOs have an extraterrestrial origin. “The NASA independent study team did not find any evidence that UAP have an extra terrestrial origin,” Nelson said. “Stigma has limited reporting by pilots, both civilian and military,” David Spergel, chair of the UAP Independent Study Team, said at the press briefing. When asked during a briefing in May why the team doesn’t use the term UFO for the report, Evans said “because of the stigma associated with UFOs.”

The lessors currently are only allowed an occasional inspection of the grounded Go First planes, which DAE and others claim are not being properly maintained. DAE court documents show it was worried about a lack of covers on cabin and cockpit seats "which would eventually lead to fungus formation", according to an internal e-mail contained in the filing. Indian media outlet Mint reported on Thursday that another lessor, BOC Aviation, also told the Delhi court about algae formation as the planes were not covered. Go First lessor SMBC Aviation Capital Aviation in May told an Indian court that Indian bankruptcy law, which blocks plane repossession, will jolt the market and spark a confidence crisis.

Sweden is considering sending Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine, according to a new report. Even if Stockholm agrees to send Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine, because it would first take time to consider the transfer and then train Ukrainian pilots, the fighter jets likely wouldn't see combat experience until mid-2024 at the earliest, the report said.
